Atlanta rapper Young Scooter was fatally shot in downtown Atlanta on his 39th birthday.
According to WSB-TV, the Atlanta Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near Luckie Street NW and Mills Street NW, just a few blocks from State Farm Arena. The incident took place around 6:45 pm.
Despite being quickly transported to a hospital, Scooter succumbed to his injuries, as confirmed by authorities.
